This past weekend we went to Henderson, TN. Sam was speaking at a weekend gospel meeting over in Milledgeville, Tn. We stayed at the home of the preacher, Bill Shannon. They were so gracious and kind to us. We had a great time. On Saturday he took us over to Pinson Mounds. It's a state park and archaeological area. It was interesting and I think the kids enjoyed it as well as being outside on a beautiful day. This is a park about Indians and their burial mounds. There are several mounds to look at and read lots of information. They have a museum with lots on interesting pieces that were found in and around the mounds. We wallked all along the park and even saw 2 deer in the woods! The kids loved that part.
It was also a great meeting. The congregation is a small one, usually only about 10-15 on Sunday's. This past Sunday, we had about 30 there for the meeting. It was great! Sam spoke twice on Friday night, once Saturday night and then three times on Sunday. There were visitors from the other local congregations to come and support them. We really had a good time and met some wonderful people.

I'm so glad yall had a great time. I know Sam did an amazing job as always. The pictures are great and it looks like yall all enjoyed yourselves. Glad the kiddos are starting to feel better. Tell Courtney I love her and want her to get better though!
