I took a trip with my parents and grandparents to New Orleans and then on to Texas to see my cousin get married. It was lots of fun! I had no kids thanks to my wonderful husband who stayed home for the entire two weeks taking care of them.
Here are just a few pics I took along the way. While in New Orleans, we of course had to go downtown and get some great seafood. Before the wedding in Texas, we were all invited to a U Paint It store. The bride and groom picked out a ceramic dinner setting for 4 and we all got to paint it whatever we wanted. They will use them as their everyday dishes. It was really fun and neat to see what everyone came up with to paint for them. We are anxious to see them glazed and fired to see how they really look when complete. Neat idea, I might have to remember that in the future!
